Sponsor a Student
It's a difficult time for many families who are trying to cut expenses, but still provide enriching opportunities to their children. Many  students have come to us asking for financial help so they may continue their education with Trillium. We've created a sliding scale fee for our classes which will expand affordability by creating a range in which class payment is self-determined. This isn't enough for many of our students, however. Your donations will provide full and partial scholarships to students in need. More information is available lower on the page and at following link:

Dedicate a Seat
A $1000 donation will etch your name in history on a new seat at the Lewis Theatre and help us renovate the 1939 theatre into a versatile new performance space, still suitable for film, but now also for dance and theatre. More information on this project is on the Lewis Theatre page. There are 55 remaining seats available for dedication.

Trillium Educational Sponsorship Seeks Funding

As a new season of dance classes begins at Trillium Performing Arts Collective, more and more students are seeking financial assistance to continue their learning.

Trillium, a non-profit organization since 1982, created the Student Educational Sponsorship Fund, which will provide the additional financial support needed for those students who wish to continue taking classes and participating in performances, but whose families can’t afford to pay for them. Since the fund is brand new, it is also empty and thus unable to serve its purpose.

Trillium has set up a sliding scale system this year to expand affordability, yet, many families are still struggling to find even the reduced funds to afford classes. This is disheartening, considering the incredible growth we see in students year after year.

Past students attest to the enriching environment that promotes such personal, social, intellectual and artistic growth. “Through dancing with Trillium, I found myself. At the concert, I knew I was ready for life. At the recital, I knew I had grown. Trillium is strength, unity, love, community, and integrity through dance. Honesty. Sadness and healing, joy and light. Maturity. Trillium is growth. There are not many words, but so many feelings. How do I express? The beginning of my dance career.”

We are asking the community for donations. Your sponsorship will keep our classes accessible for all children regardless of their family’s finances. In the future, students will be involved in events that would serve as fundraisers for the Educational Sponsorship. Currently, however, a base must be developed that will allow our students to begin classes with their peers.

Please consider sponsoring a Trillium student or program. Both full and partial sponsorships are beneficial. To fully sponsor eight weeks of classes for a student is only $82 or to give a full year is $328. Any and all amounts are greatly appreciated.  NIP credits, which provide a 50% return on WV taxes, are available for donations over $500.
