Trillium Arts Collective is run by a dedicated staff of artists and professionals, but we can't do the work alone! We rely on our volunteers to help bring the best in performing arts and education to the Lewisburg area.

Trillium has been sustained by volunteers since our beginnings in the early 1980's. At that time, Trillium was a volunteer-run organization. With no paid staff, all of the administrative work needed to keep the company going was done by volunteers. This was true for over 10 years. In the meantime, other volunteers were guiding us through the transition of becoming a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. For years, volunteers have provided the energy to fulfill our collective vision. As the first phase of renovation of the historic Lewis Theatre launched in the fall of 2009, over 70 volunteers rolled up their sleeves and contributed over 1000 hours to the project.

Today, there are both on-going and one-time projects that require the generosity and talents of individuals who support our efforts.
We are continuously producing dance and movement theatre concerts and Friday Night Alives! Both of which require a variety of people to serve a variety of roles. See the table below for descriptions of these volunteer roles.

If you are interested in participating in the Friends of Trillium Volunteer Program, please join our mailing list for updates on volunteer activities or call Taylor Alef at (304) 645-3003.
