Trillium's mission is to encourage artistic expression & creative opportunities through education, participation and performance.

We are a community-based performing arts organization that has been active in Greenbrier and neighboring counties since 1982.

Trillium celebrate the creation of original works through the collaboration of many different performing art forms, including dance, music, and theatre. From tots to seniors, we welcome artists of all ages to create with us.

What do we do?
  • Create original dance and movement theatre.

  • Provide collaborative opportunities for artists of all ages and disciplines in a variety of performance events.

  • Offer rich and nurturing dance and movement education for children, teens, and adults through the Trillium School for Performing Arts.

  • Host guest artists from all over the United States for
community workshops in movement, music, theatre,
  mask-making and somatic education.

  • Produce Friday Night Alive!, an informal works-in-progress series for sharing music, dance, spoken word, theatre, and comedy.

  • Trillium Performing Youth offers free programs in schools
and residential homes for the elderly.

Our home is at the Lewis Theatre in the historic
downtown of Lewisburg, WV.
